Virtual Assistants are hot in demand nowadays, not only for the convenience they offer but also for the valuable services they are able to provide.
4 Tips to join the VA movement

Skills & Services. The first step to take once you’ve decided to swap your full-time day job for a become-my-own-boss-position is to define your services. Where do your strengths and expertise lie? If you aren’t a huge Facebook fan for instance and find yourself only going to Facebook once a week, well then, you can’t offer your services as a Social Media Fundi.

Get educated. There may be tasks or services that you can offer, however, a bit more training is required. If possible, take classes to brush up on your skills.

Meet people. In order for you to run a successful VA business, you’ll need clients. Where is the best place to start? Begin with old business contacts, inform them of your new venture and what services you have to offer. Get a website if you don’t already have one and make sure you have a social media presence.

Selling skills. Yes. It is vitally important that you learn to sell yourself. Where there is an opportunity there is an entrepreneur selling the services of your business!
